Nella piccola "hauschen" nel boschetto accanto all'abitazione Trenker, Mahler compose al pianoforte "Das Lied von der Erde", e le ultime sinfonie, la Nona e la Decima incompiuta.

In this small hut (in German "Hauschen") in the park around the Trenker house Mahler composed his last two symphonies, the Ninth and the unfinished Tenth, as well as the "Lied of the Earth", surely his most grieved and passionate compositions.
